We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator - Houston, TX, or remote - with a minimum of 4 years of experience planning, developing, implementing, and managing strategies for various social media platforms. This role will report directly to the Director of Communications.

You are passionate about all things social media and enjoy the ins and outs of social, from developing strategy and creating content to analyzing data and identifying trends. When it comes to the latest social trends or platform changes, you are the go-to resource for insight. You have high social and emotional intelligence with a knack for project management. You won’t find any mistakes in your social posts because your attention to detail and organizational skills keep the brand image on point.
What your role will include:
Oversee social media process turnkey for multiple clients.
Lead social media strategy and develop social media editorial calendars for each client.
Organize, plan, and create content to ensure it fits within the parameters and purposes of social strategies.
Continuously improve strategy by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices and then providing optimization recommendations.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
Coordinate social media tasks in the agency’s project management tool.
Manage and monitor paid social efforts.
Collaborate with other departments to launch campaigns, monitor channels, and execute as needed.
You'll definitely get our attention if you have:
5+ years of experience managing social media platforms and configuring social ads.
Thorough understanding of social networks and tools, including paid and organic social media marketing.
Keen understanding of how social media fits into a larger digital marketing funnel.
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
Demonstrated experience writing content for tone, brevity, and specific audiences.
Experience collaborating with designers and writers, and receiving creative direction.
Confidence in working on large-scale projects with tight deadlines.
Experience with content management systems, marketing automation systems, and social media marketing platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Extreme attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
